Martha’s Vineyard Wedding // Ashley & Adam’s Highlights Film // West Tisbury Wedding

Ashley & Adam were married at the beautiful & historic Our Lady Star of the Sea church in Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard. Hurricane Joaquin was sweeping though the region and was threatening the tented reception that was planned for the evening. Danielle Bailey the wedding planner seemed to make magic happen, securing a completely different venue for the reception and the events continued into the night! The party was unbelievable.. because of the noise ordinance of The Grange Hall, the DJ was not permitted to play there so a friend played his guitar & entertained the guests for the evening. It was truly intimate, exciting and unforgettable! We really enjoy these ‘local destination’ weddings, the look & feel of Martha’s Vineyard and it’s convenience for family & friends make it such a wonderful place for a wedding weekend. Ashley & Adam are so blessed, we had a wonderful time!

Castle Hill Wedding Highlight // Heather & Simon’s Newport Wedding

“Take It All In” by Trent Dabbs licensed by The Music Bed

Upon our first Skype meeting with Heather & Simon we immediately became so excited for their wedding. They met in the UK while Heather was traveling there and while they were dating spent a great deal of time in the States.  Simon proposed to Heather twice, the first time there was no ring. By Heather’s surprise, while they were looking for wedding venues in Newport, Simon took her to Castle Hill Inn (she had no idea they had dinner reservations and that the entire staff was in on Simon’s plan). They sat down for dinner, and the staff brought them a cake that said “Marry Me”. She said yes, for the second time, and the whole restaurant was just as excited as they were. This is why they decided to host their wedding ceremony and reception at Castle Hill Inn.

Their wedding day was extremely personalized with heartfelt readings during the ceremony. Many of their guests traveled from far distances to be with them on this special day, including their little Ewok friend! (You will have to watch their highlight film to see who we are talking about). Everything about their wedding day was so laid back and fun. You couldn’t help but smile whenever you saw the two of them together. Heather’s father shared the sweetest version of their proposal story, and the night continued with great food, and awesome entertainment.

Block Island Wedding // Rebecca & Andrew’s Highlights Film

“All The Right Things by Jake Holman licensed by TheMusicBed
“Life in Color” by One Republic licensed by SongFreedomRebecca & Andrew had a beautiful seaside wedding ceremony & reception outside Rebecca’s parents home on Block Island.

Andrew started his day by playing some soccer with his groomsmen, while Rebecca and the girls had their hair and makeup done for the big day. One of Andrew’s friends had a 60’s International Harvester pick up that the guys hung out in after they got ready, which made for some really fun footage for us to capture.

The couple planned to have a “first look” before the ceremony to lighten things up a bit. Following their first look, they posed for some formal photos with their family, friends, and their adorable yellow lab Casye. As guests arrived they enjoyed a refreshing Del’s Lemonade and made their way to the breathtaking ceremony site. The ceremony was beautifully decorated with elegant floral arrangements done by Stoneblossoms.

As the ceremony ended, guests made their way into a luxurious tent for cocktail hour. The bride and groom were able to spend some time with their closest friends and family before the reception started. Their signature cocktail, the “Grapefruit Crush” was a big hit!

The tent for the reception was supplied by Newport Tent. Exquisite Events decorated the tent with these beautiful lanterns that made it feel like you were sitting beneath the clouds. The happy couple was introduced and shared their first dance together as husband and wife. The party quickly took off from their. Guests took some photos in “Chloe” the vintage Volkswagen Bus supplied by Photo Booth Planet and danced the night away wearing silly accessories such as hats, glasses and fake mustaches. The band, Sound House, was the perfect fit for this wedding, the dance floor was packed the entire night and the guests had a great time.

After the reception was over, the guests stayed with the couple to light sparklers as a fun way to end the night. This seaside wedding was filled with excitement and joy for the new couple, and we wish them many years of success and happiness in their years to come!

Boston Harbor Hyatt Regency Wedding // Mr. & Mrs. Smith’s Cinematic Highlight // Boston, MA Wedding

Lindsey & Chris both woke up to clouds and rain on October 11, 2014. The weather miraculously cleared up just before they were ready to do their first look. The weather was beautiful through their formals session and continued throughout the rest of the day.

Their ceremony was held in the tent outside of the Hyatt Harborside with a gorgeous view of the Boston skyline. Lindsey’s Aunt was the officiant for the ceremony. Since she has known Lindsey her whole life, the ceremony was very personalized. Chris & Lindsey’s personal vows were sweet and also humorous, which had their guests smiling the entire time.

The party continued with delicious Hors d’oeuvres at cocktail hour, and guests were able to sign their unique “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” sign.

Their reception was a non stop party, complete with heartfelt toasts, great dance moves, confetti, and late night snacks. After experiencing this awesome day with the couple, we could really feel the love and happiness shared between the two families. Enjoy their cinematic highlight!

Castle Hill Inn Wedding // Newport, RI // Lindsey & Scott’s Cinematic Wedding Highlight

Lindsey & Scott started off their wedding day by the water at the gorgeous Castle Hill Inn in Newport, Rhode Island. Their little flower girl Elle was so excited about being the flower girl, she was full of fun energy the entire day!

The couple planed to see eachother before the ceremony right by the very well known Castle Hill Lighthouse. The moment they shared there was nothing short of adorable, especially because Lindsey had never seen Scott in a bowtie before.

All of their immediate family members and the bridal party made their way over to the Marble House for their formal photography session. They couldn’t have asked for better weather in September, the sun was shining all day and the cool Newport breeze cooled them down.

Everyone was brought back to Castle Hill Inn for their seaside ceremony by the tent. Cocktail hour followed with a tasty rawbar and relaxing music played by the live trio.

The guests made their way into the tent for the reception. The decor was classy and elegant, and as the night went on the guests could enjoy watching the beautiful sunset. After dinner, the groom and his mother shared a dance, followed by the bride and her father who opened up the dance floor with an energetic song! The night continued with fun dancing, yummy deserts, and a chance to take silly photos in their photobooth. Here is their cinematic wedding highlight:

A Message in a Bottle // RI Country Club Wedding // Erica & Adam Resmini’s Wedding

We want to wish a very Happy Anniversary to Erica & Adam Resmini

We had the pleasure of documenting their epic wedding celebration last August. Erica and Adam are two of the sweetest people we know, they are also a ton of fun to be around. The love they have for one another is a rare and beautiful thing.

They met by chance while putting together an event. From their first meeting, Adam fell in love with her sense of humor. They stayed at Panera Bread for hours, but not to talk about the event, they were engaged in each other’s stories and spent all that time getting to know each other. Five weeks later, while on one of their many picnic dates, Adam discreetly wrote a note for her. He put the note in their empty wine bottle and hid it from her. He explained they would find the bottle some other time and she could read the note then.

A little over a year later, they went to that same spot to have a picnic. They found the bottle and Adam gave her the note that was inside. The end of the note said, “Will you marry me?”.

Their wedding day was a year after their engagement. As always, we loved working with their fantastic planner, Wendy Joblon and their day went by so seamlessly because of her.

They shared an intimate Catholic Ceremony at St. Luke’s Parish in Barrington. Adam surprised her once again with a horse and carriage waiting for them outside the church to bring them to their home down the street where they would take their wedding photos. Julie, Scott and Devon from Oggi Photography were so much fun to work with throughout the day and set up some gorgeous poses of the bridal party on the beach.

Their reception was held at RI Country Club and was elegantly decorated by Exquisite Events and Stone Blossoms. The evening continued with entertainment by the extremely talented band Decades By Dezyne and surprise fireworks for their guests to enjoy at the end of the night.

Please take a moment to watch their highlight film and see for yourself the wonderful love that the two of them share.

Erica & Adam, we wish you both the best and are so happy we got to be a part of your special day!
