Castle Hill Wedding Highlight // Heather & Simon’s Newport Wedding

“Take It All In” by Trent Dabbs licensed by The Music Bed

Upon our first Skype meeting with Heather & Simon we immediately became so excited for their wedding. They met in the UK while Heather was traveling there and while they were dating spent a great deal of time in the States.  Simon proposed to Heather twice, the first time there was no ring. By Heather’s surprise, while they were looking for wedding venues in Newport, Simon took her to Castle Hill Inn (she had no idea they had dinner reservations and that the entire staff was in on Simon’s plan). They sat down for dinner, and the staff brought them a cake that said “Marry Me”. She said yes, for the second time, and the whole restaurant was just as excited as they were. This is why they decided to host their wedding ceremony and reception at Castle Hill Inn.

Their wedding day was extremely personalized with heartfelt readings during the ceremony. Many of their guests traveled from far distances to be with them on this special day, including their little Ewok friend! (You will have to watch their highlight film to see who we are talking about). Everything about their wedding day was so laid back and fun. You couldn’t help but smile whenever you saw the two of them together. Heather’s father shared the sweetest version of their proposal story, and the night continued with great food, and awesome entertainment.

Miranda & Allen were a very “out of the box” couple and their choice of locations speaks volumes to the fun they wanted for their guests on their wedding day. We were introduced to the couple by our wonderful friend and talented photographer Scott Z. Their beautiful love was very evident and they shared their nuptials with the gorgeous Boston Harbor in the background. The view was spectacular! Their wedding also coincided with the “Super Moon” and what an amazing night and evening it was. Enjoy the Same Day Edit!

Destination Wedding // Spruce Peak, Stowe, VT // Cyndi & Justin’s Wedding Trailer

Cinematography: ArtisticWeddingFilms // 877.819.0923

Cyndi & Justin decided they wanted to have a destination wedding at the Spruce Peak Mountain Lodge in Stowe, Vermont because they wanted their family and friends to be able to enjoy their wedding as if it were a vacation. They love the atmosphere of Stowe and thought it would be a beautiful place for the most special day of their lives, and they were right!

Cyndi started her day getting her hair and makeup done at the Spa at Stowe Mountain Lodge, while Justin was enjoying some beers from the Lost Nation brewery with his groomsmen. Cyndi & Justin had a beautiful Armenian ceremony at the Waterbury Congregational Church. We had the privilege of working with Jesse Schloff photography and he brought us to the amazing looking red barn on Stowe Hollow Road for the couple’s formals session.
The night continued with cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres outside at the Spruce Camp Base Lodge. The reception started with a bang! The Love Revival Orchestra marched into the room with the couple and their bridal party and it was non-stop fun from then on. The guests also enjoyed smores by the fire pit and an awesome gelato station. They had to have gelato considering they met in high school scooping ice cream together. The whole night was surely one to remember!
