Northport Maine Wedding // Alicia & Kirby’s Wedding Highlight // Coastal New England Wedding Film

Alicia & Kirby wanted that quintessential New England coastal wedding. They drove up the Maine coast in search of the perfect wedding venue and stumbled upon Point Lookout Resort & Conference Center. Don’t be thrown off by the name.. it was amazing! (think cozy cabins in the pines & gorgeous ocean views from a mountain top). Alicia & Kirby had found a picture perfect venue. Camden Maine and the surrounding area is near & dear to Alicia & Kirby, so finding that place for their special day was so important. The weather cooperated too, we should say.. it easily could have been very cold but everyone was comfortably enjoying the unseasonably warm temperature. We were honored to be invited up to spend a weekend with this fun couple & their wonderful friends and family.

Martha’s Vineyard Wedding // Ashley & Adam’s Highlights Film // West Tisbury Wedding

Ashley & Adam were married at the beautiful & historic Our Lady Star of the Sea church in Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard. Hurricane Joaquin was sweeping though the region and was threatening the tented reception that was planned for the evening. Danielle Bailey the wedding planner seemed to make magic happen, securing a completely different venue for the reception and the events continued into the night! The party was unbelievable.. because of the noise ordinance of The Grange Hall, the DJ was not permitted to play there so a friend played his guitar & entertained the guests for the evening. It was truly intimate, exciting and unforgettable! We really enjoy these ‘local destination’ weddings, the look & feel of Martha’s Vineyard and it’s convenience for family & friends make it such a wonderful place for a wedding weekend. Ashley & Adam are so blessed, we had a wonderful time!

Bar Harbor Wedding // Stephanie & Sam’s Wedding Film Short // Destination Wedding

“Flowers In Your Hair” by the Lumineers licensed by SongFreedom.com
“Roots” by Tiny Houses and “New Day” by the Rival licensed by theMusicBed.com

Stephanie, Sam, and their family and friends all came together from 17 different states for this wedding in Bar Harbor, Maine. This place has always felt like home to Stephanie and it is also the first place her and Sam went on vacation to together. Being able to spend an entire 3 day weekend with the people that are closest to them was something they both were extremely excited about.

Their Ceremony took place on the lawn behind the Bar Harbor Club and was performed by their best friend Manny. Everything was moose themed (Their last name is Muhs, pronounced: Moose). This included some fun shirts that said “Cool as a Muhs”, Moose tracks on their aisle runner and cake, a stuffed animal moose for the flower girl, and other cute moose themed decor. They went on to cocktail hour and had such a fun party at the reception. The toasts were hysterical and extremely heart felt. The dance floor was packed the entire time, there was crowd surfing, people being thrown in the air, limbo (made out of belts) and so many more silly unforgettable moments. After the reception was over, everyone went outside and walked down to the poolhouse alongside a musical trio playing some folk style hits. The whole weekend was an incredible time in a beautiful scenic location. We wish Stephanie and Sam the best on their new journey together as husband and wife!

“Hold Onto Hope Love” by Amy Stroup licensed by MusicBed.com

Melissa & Edward were married at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel at Salve Regina University followed by an unforgettable evening reception with family and friends at Rosecliff Mansion in Newport, RI. There wasn’t a moment in the day that Melissa & Edward weren’t glowing with smiles and joy, it was truly a beautiful sight. We had so much fun exploring all the historic beauty and romantic settings Rosecliff has to offer. We could not have been more honored to capture such an exceptional occasion. Their day unfolded so well and it was a pleasure working so many great professionals!

Castle Hill Wedding Highlight // Heather & Simon’s Newport Wedding

“Take It All In” by Trent Dabbs licensed by The Music Bed

Upon our first Skype meeting with Heather & Simon we immediately became so excited for their wedding. They met in the UK while Heather was traveling there and while they were dating spent a great deal of time in the States.  Simon proposed to Heather twice, the first time there was no ring. By Heather’s surprise, while they were looking for wedding venues in Newport, Simon took her to Castle Hill Inn (she had no idea they had dinner reservations and that the entire staff was in on Simon’s plan). They sat down for dinner, and the staff brought them a cake that said “Marry Me”. She said yes, for the second time, and the whole restaurant was just as excited as they were. This is why they decided to host their wedding ceremony and reception at Castle Hill Inn.

Their wedding day was extremely personalized with heartfelt readings during the ceremony. Many of their guests traveled from far distances to be with them on this special day, including their little Ewok friend! (You will have to watch their highlight film to see who we are talking about). Everything about their wedding day was so laid back and fun. You couldn’t help but smile whenever you saw the two of them together. Heather’s father shared the sweetest version of their proposal story, and the night continued with great food, and awesome entertainment.

Boston Sheraton Indian Wedding // Seema & Frank’s Same Day Edit Film

Event Filmmakers: Mike, Neal, Pam, Crystal, and Dave
SDE Editor: Crystal

Seema & Frank were introduced to us by Deejay Yogi from Boston Sound and Light. We are so happy that they chose us to be a part of their big day. Their wedding took place at the Boston Sheraton, they had their first look by the Christian Science Center and it was followed by an insanely awesome Baraat leading them to the Sheraton. Really, it was insanely awesome. DJ Lav played the Dhol on the roof of their Hummer.

As guests walked into the ceremony they were blown away by the beautiful mandap decorated by Alankar Decor and with floral arrangements by Dogwood Floral Design. Seema & Frank had outstanding support by their family and friends, their guests cheered Frank on during their processional by shouting, “Frankie, Frankie, Frankie…”. The ceremony came to an end and the couple enjoyed a formal photography session with their families done by the photographers Thuy, Nate, Nadya and Vinny. The room then transformed into a breathtaking scene for the reception. They had a light up dance floor and such elegant decor. Boston Sound and Light had amazing gobos and uplighting set up which made for some gorgeous footage. The couple was introduced and they enjoyed some fun performances and heartfelt toasts by their family and friends. Once Dipesh and Yogi dropped a beat, the dance floor was constantly packed. We played their Same Day Edit and all the guests were in awe being able to see the day over again on the big screen. Thank you so much to everyone involved for making this such an amazing day!

Boston State Room Wedding // Ashley & Francis // Same Day Edit Film

“Ordinary Love” by Ben Rector licensed by MusicBed.com

Ashley & Francis both grew up in Boston, living just about a mile apart from each other. As children their paths never crossed, they even worked at Quincy Recreation as young adults and surprisingly had never spoken to each other. A mutual friend eventually brought them together and 4 years later here we are! Ashley & Francis both absolutely love the city of Boston, naturally they picked an incredible place for a wedding reception, the birds eye view of the city from The State Room cannot be topped, it was just incredible and so fitting. It was truly such a pleasure to capture their wedding day. It was so gratifying for us to present their same day edit at the end of the evening too, it was a total hit! We hope you enjoy.

Block Island Wedding // Rebecca & Andrew’s Highlights Film

“All The Right Things by Jake Holman licensed by TheMusicBed
“Life in Color” by One Republic licensed by SongFreedomRebecca & Andrew had a beautiful seaside wedding ceremony & reception outside Rebecca’s parents home on Block Island.

Andrew started his day by playing some soccer with his groomsmen, while Rebecca and the girls had their hair and makeup done for the big day. One of Andrew’s friends had a 60’s International Harvester pick up that the guys hung out in after they got ready, which made for some really fun footage for us to capture.

The couple planned to have a “first look” before the ceremony to lighten things up a bit. Following their first look, they posed for some formal photos with their family, friends, and their adorable yellow lab Casye. As guests arrived they enjoyed a refreshing Del’s Lemonade and made their way to the breathtaking ceremony site. The ceremony was beautifully decorated with elegant floral arrangements done by Stoneblossoms.

As the ceremony ended, guests made their way into a luxurious tent for cocktail hour. The bride and groom were able to spend some time with their closest friends and family before the reception started. Their signature cocktail, the “Grapefruit Crush” was a big hit!

The tent for the reception was supplied by Newport Tent. Exquisite Events decorated the tent with these beautiful lanterns that made it feel like you were sitting beneath the clouds. The happy couple was introduced and shared their first dance together as husband and wife. The party quickly took off from their. Guests took some photos in “Chloe” the vintage Volkswagen Bus supplied by Photo Booth Planet and danced the night away wearing silly accessories such as hats, glasses and fake mustaches. The band, Sound House, was the perfect fit for this wedding, the dance floor was packed the entire night and the guests had a great time.

After the reception was over, the guests stayed with the couple to light sparklers as a fun way to end the night. This seaside wedding was filled with excitement and joy for the new couple, and we wish them many years of success and happiness in their years to come!

Puerto Rico Destination Wedding // Ellie & Blay’s Highlights Film // Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa

After our long and brutally cold New England winter, we we’re so excited to escape for a destination wedding in Puerto Rico. Elizabeth & Blay had their ceremony and reception at beautiful Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa which is located on Puerto Rico’s lush southern coast. We’ll let the footage speak for itself, but the scenery was breathtaking. What was even more beautiful than the scenery were the people involved in Ellie & Blay’s wedding. There was so much joy shared between the two families celebrating the couple. They had an intimate beach wedding ceremony with their closest friends and family and it was nothing short of perfect. The entire weekend was relaxed and intimate for their guests, but we made sure to get out and explore with Ellie & Blay. First we explored Gilligan’s Island with Blay, and then drove across the island to visit El Yunque National Forest with the couple. We hiked out to La Mina Falls and were able to shoot some footage of Ellie & Blay at the waterfall. It was unforgettable and so much fun! We hope you love this short film of their awesome weekend.

Dedham Country Club and Polo Club // Allie & Ryan’s Highlight Film // Boston Wedding Film

“Beautiful” by Austin Plaine licensed by www.TheMusicBed.com

Feeling anxious, excited, and a bit nervous is what we would all traditionally expect from a couple on their wedding day. We as filmmakers feel the same level of anticipation and excitement when we get started shooting on a wedding day. A great deal of time goes into the planning, but like any living organism, it changes frequently. Though weddings always go well, there is always a certain air of excitement and uncertainty to them. This is what we love about what we do, the excitement of meeting new couples and families and the moments that we capture throughout the day that make up a beautiful story with editing.

Well Allie & Ryan brought us beauty, excitement, fun and so much wow in their wedding celebration.  With such an amazing backdrop at the Dedham Country Club, we were able to accomplish what we love, cinematic story telling!  This couple along with their family and friends were such a blast to shoot!
